Saving Wildcats needs your help!

Saving Wildcats aims to prevent the extinction of wildcats in Scotland by breeding them in our state-of-the-art centre at Highland Wildlife Park and then releasing them into suitable sites within the Cairngorms National Park. Working with YOU, our local community, is a huge part of the project! We've just launched a community survey to find out more about people's views on wildcat conservation efforts and would love to hear from you.

As well as letting us know what you think about our plans, the data collected from this survey will help us assess the potential risk of hybridisation (interbreeding) between domestic cats and wildcats in the areas surrounding the potential release site.

As a special thank you for your time, look out for our prize draw entry form at the end of the survey and enter your email to be in with a chance of winning one of these incredible prizes:

  • A two night stay at the Boat Country Inn
  • A family pass to Highland Wildlife Park
  • A voucher for Zip Trek Park Aviemore
  • A polar bear experience at Highland Wildlife Park
  • A voucher for Tiso

Together we're Saving Wildcats. Complete the survey today.
